New Bylaw Enforcement Initiative

Bylaw Enforcement

The Town of Viking Council has contracted the services of a professional Bylaw Enforcement Officer.

The Town of Viking Council want to help restore a clean, quiet, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing environment in which residents, businesses, and potential new residents and businesses can thrive and prosper.

Over the next few weeks our Bylaw Enforcement Officer will be issuing reminders and verbal or written warnings, believing that most contraventions will be dealt with amiably. Failure to comply with the bylaws, whether you have been contacted personally or not, will result in further action.

We plan to target two primary issues: Unsightly Properties and Pet Concerns.  Other issues will be addressed including parking and overgrown foliage.

We urge property owners, residents and businesses to work with us and together to get our Town back into a condition that will make us proud to be living and/or operating businesses in the Town of Viking.

Please contact the Town office if you have any suggestions or concerns.
